| Dawn Vickerage started her career working as a Dancer and Performer on cruise ships alongside many top UK Entertainers. She has compered and presented a variety of events ranging from Gala Evenings to Comedy Nights.After three years of performing on ships, she danced in the Show ‘Spirit of the Dance’ in Missouri, USA. She returned to the UK and became a ‘Tiller Girl’ for The Danny La Rue Show, Blackpool for two Summer Seasons. Dawn was also a Dancer in ‘Star Time’ on The North Pier, Blackpool.
She headed to The Sunderland Empire for Pantomime and the following year to The Southport Pavilion Theatre with the cast of Coronation Street and Heartbeat.
It was whilst choreographing for a 1,000 + capacity live Entertainments Venue that Dawn’s interest in music and DJ-ing grew. The Entertainments Manager realised Dawn had a talent and was snapped up to DJ various Themed Nights from 50’s Rock and Roll to present day. |
